Will your child be the inaugural WA Orange Ball State Champion? Tennis Factory are excited to announce that we will be running WA’s very first Orange ball State championship for players aged 9 & under. This brand new competition is the first coloured ball event on Tennis Australia’s Competitive Play Calendar, which is now offering competitive play/tournaments for kids who play Red, Orange and Green ball.

Tennis Factory’s Performance Tennis Manager Harry Wilmott-Stanton said of the new event “this is a fantastic step in the right direction for junior tennis in WA. For the first time we will be able to provide the younger players, showing a real aptitude for competition, an opportunity to put their skills to the test against like-minded competitors of their age. This is something that the World’s most successful nations have been providing for a while, so its great to see Tennis Factory at the forefront of bringing the state’s tennis scene in line with the gold standard of junior player development”.

The event offers competitive Orange ball players aged 9 & under an opportunity to compete against other keen kids in a round-robin singles draw with knockout to decide the champion.

DATE: Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April at our East Fremantle LTC club

FORMAT: Singles will be played on the Saturday with doubles on the Sunday. Players must play both events. Doubles on the last day is a great event to finish on as the pressure is off and the players really enjoy combining together to play
