Tennis Factory has been running tennis lessons at Onslow Park Tennis Club (OPTC) since 2009 with both coaches and the club being recognised in this time with numerous awards by Tennis West and Tennis Australia.

Tennis Factory began at the club in 2008 with a number of junior pennant teams following Matt from his old club, Nedlands Tennis Club, to Onslow Park Tennis Club to compete on Sunday mornings. At this stage Onslow Park Tennis Club was only a grass-court club. In 2009, the club converted two grass-courts into hard-courts with installed lights. Following this Matt was given the opportunity to take up a coaching contract with the club – Onslow Park Tennis Club and Tennis Factory have never looked back.

Coach and Club Success

With the ability now to play at the club year-round and the addition of a great tennis coaching program, the Onslow Park Tennis Club went from strength to strength. Membership went from 105 members in 2008 to over 230 members in five years, with this large increase in membership the club converted another two grass courts to hard courts (totalling 4 lit hardcourts) and in 2019 Onslow Park Tennis Club hopes to increase it again by adding another 2 lit hardcourts. Along the way Tennis Factory and Onslow Park Tennis Club have won many awards for its healthy volunteer contribution and management, as well as the many great coaching programs:

Situated on Onslow Road in Shenton Park, Onslow Park Tennis Club is nestled in-between Rosalie Park and Rosalie Primary School and is the largest tennis club located in the City of Subiaco. The tennis club currently has 7 grass-courts, 4 lit hard-courts and a newly renovated clubhouse and veranda, the perfect setting to watch tennis lessons or social tennis in play.

The tennis club prides itself on being a very friendly and welcoming club with lots of tennis playing options available to members throughout the week and on weekends, including social tennis and competitive tennis (including pennants) for adults and juniors. Along with this are many social events arranged throughout the year to cater for the great cross-section of ages the tennis club has.

Tennis Factory coaching programs

Tennis Factory runs a tennis coaching program from Onslow Park Tennis Club 6 days per week with a comprehensive tennis program for all ages and abilities (junior and adult). Situated on Onslow Road, Shenton Park, Onslow Park Tennis Club offers a variety of award winning tennis coaching programs for all ages and abilities, while also catering for the more social aspects.

We manage the Sunday morning Tennis West junior pennants and the junior club championships for the club and have a great team of coaches including four full-time senior staff to look after your tennis needs.
