Tennis is going strong at Rosalie Primary School with both their boys’ and girls’ teams being crowned the metro interschool champions for primary school students.

Both the boys and the girls’ teams won the event. The girls team beat Rosalie’s 2nd team in the final. Winning both the boys’ and the girls’ events in the same year is a first for the school!

Rosalie Primary School is situated next-door to Onslow Park Tennis Club, with many of the students participating in lessons or playing pennants for the club. In the lead-up to the event the kids came to the club at lunchtime to get some extra practice in and leading into the event many of the players come after school with friends for extra practice too!

The school, the club and Tennis Factory (the coaches at the club) have a fantastic relationship which has far reaching benefits for the players, the school and the community so it is extra special when the kids achieve success like this.
